Max. supply van Gulden
In een open discussie is breed gesproken over de maximale supply van Gulden. Er zijn verschillende opties besproken. Vooralsnog is er geen keuze gemaakt. De GAB gaat intern overleggen en meer onderzoek doen naar de verschillende opties die er zijn. Wanneer hier nieuws over is, zal de community via de gebruikelijke kanalen op de hoogte worden gebracht. De GAB adviseert de community ook zelf meer discussie te voeren over dit onderwerp.
Voortgang ontwikkeling Witness Sync
Witness Sync, een andere unieke functie van Gulden die mogelijk is dankzij het PoW2 systeem, nadert de test-fase. Met Witness Sync zal het synchronisatieproces van alle Gulden wallets sneller verlopen. In het geval van de volledige Gulden wallet, zal de synchronisatietijd gemiddeld bijna 200 keer sneller zijn. Testnet van Witness Sync zal in de komende week (week 13) worden uitgerold. Als er geen grote bugs of problemen zijn, kan Witness Sync volledig live gaan in 2 tot 3 weken.
NFTs op de Gulden blockchain & marketing
Er is niet veel extra informatie die we publiekelijk kunnen bespreken over de NFT’s op de Gulden blockchain. De ontwikkeling zal starten zodra Witness Sync live is en correct werkt.
Bij Gulden’s unieke benadering van NFT’s zal marketing een belangrijk aspect zijn. De use-case ervan verkoopt zichzelf. Wanneer er meer info is over hoe dit een grote rol gaat spelen, zal dit gedeeld worden.
Paper Wallets
Een marketing voorstel, door één of een paar leden van de Gulden gemeenschap, is om coupons, of papieren portemonnees, rechtstreeks vanuit de Gulden portemonnees te kunnen maken. De GAB is het erover eens dat dit een leuke functie en/of toevoeging zou kunnen zijn, maar dat het geen prioriteit heeft boven de andere lopende ontwikkelingen. Zodra Witness Sync en NFTs op de Gulden blockchain zijn ontwikkeld, zal dit onderwerp opnieuw op de agenda staan.
Litebit.eu delist Gulden
Op 15 maart 2021 stuurde Litebit een e-mail uit naar al hun gebruikers dat Gulden van het platform zou worden geschrapt, samen met een heleboel andere projecten.
Zowel de GAB als het Gulden ontwikkelingsteam zijn niet bang dat andere brokers of exchanges Gulden delisten. Litebit.eu is een bedrijf met hun eigen userbase en platform, en elk bedrijf heeft het recht om te doen wat ze willen doen met hun platform en hun gebruikers. Zoals gebruikelijk bij Gulden, gaan we gewoon door. Waar er 1 deur dicht gaat, gaan er anderen open.
Blockhut.com DEX exchange
Aangezien de GAB heeft goedgekeurd prioriteit te geven aan de ontwikkeling van NFTs op de Gulden blockchain boven al het andere, is de ontwikkeling van de DEX nog niet begonnen. Echter, de (waar nodig) gedecentraliseerde marktplaats, waar de NFT’s verhandelbaar zullen zijn tussen gebruikers, is een eerste stap in de richting van de ontwikkeling van de DEX.

Total max. supply of Gulden
In an open discussion, the maximum supply of Gulden was discussed broadly. There have been various options discussed. For now, no choice has been made. The GAB will discuss internally and do more research on the various options that are available. When there is news regarding this, the community will be notified through the usual channels. The GAB suggest that the community could discuss this topic more actively on gulden Slack.
Development progress of Witness Sync
Witness Sync, which is another unique feature of Gulden possible thanks to the PoW2 system, is nearing the testing-phase. With Witness Sync, the syncing process time of of all Gulden wallets will be faster. In case of the full Gulden wallet, the syncing time will be close to 200 times faster on average. Testnet of Witness Sync will roll out in the upcoming week (week 13). If there are no major bugs or issues, Witness Sync can go fully live in 2 to 3 weeks.
NFTs on the Gulden blockchain & marketing
There is not a lot of extra information that we can discuss publicly regarding the NFT’s on the Gulden blockchain. The development will start once Witness Sync is live and working correctly.
Gulden’s unique approach to NFT’s will play an important aspect of marketing. The use-case of it sells itself. When there is more info about how this will play a big role, this will be shared.
Paper wallets
A marketing proposal, by one or a few Gulden community members, is to be able to create coupons, or paper wallets, straight from within the Gulden wallets. The GAB agrees that this could be a nice feature and/or addition, but that it does not have priority over the other ongoing developments. Once Witness Sync and NFTs on the Gulden blockchain are developed, this subject can be discussed again.
Broker Litebit.eu delisting Gulden
On the 15th of March 2021, Litebit send an e-mail out to all of their users that Gulden was going to be delisted from the platform, together with a bunch of other projects.
Both the GAB and the Gulden development team are not afraid of any other brokers or exchanges delisting Gulden. Litebit.eu is a company with their own userbase and platform, and each company has their own right to do whatever they wish to do with their platform and their users. As usual at Gulden, we just keep moving on.
Blockhut.com DEX exchange
Since the GAB approved putting priority of developing NFTs on the Gulden blockchain over anything else, the development of the DEX has not yet started. However, the decentralized (and centralized where needed) marketplace, where the NFT’s will be tradeable between users, is a first step towards the development of the DEX.
